Fun-first mini netball — first passes, footwork and falling in love with the game.
Free Saturday TasterBook your spot →Dubai's newest netball club for girls U5–U17 — high-quality coaching, a clear player pathway, and a netball family where every athlete matters.

A maverick thinks and acts independently, often going against the usual expectations. Mavericks was created to give players high-quality coaching, exciting competition and a player-centred environment where every athlete matters — building confidence, resilience and lifelong friendships along the way.
The standards our players are known for — the way they play and behave, on and off the court.
We're not afraid to try, learn and grow.
We work hard and never give up.
We think positively and find solutions.
We lift each other up and celebrate success together.
We learn from setbacks and come back stronger.
Every player follows a pathway that builds technical skills, tactical understanding, confidence and performance over time.

Fun-first mini netball — first passes, footwork and falling in love with the game.

Building core skills, positions and game understanding through real match play.

Applying skills under pressure — tactics, competition and a real squad identity.

Performance netball, leadership and a pathway toward representative honours.

Emily brings extensive coaching experience from both the UK and UAE performance pathways and is passionate about developing young players while creating an environment where athletes can thrive on and off the court. She is completing her Level 3 Advanced Coaching Qualification and has helped players progress into national programmes across England, the UAE, Wales, Scotland and Pakistan. What she loves most is the moment a skill finally clicks for a player — that spark of realisation is just magical.
Favourite memory: Gaining her first international coaching cap at the 2024 Youth World Cup Qualifiers.

A netball mum herself — she loves helping children grow in confidence, develop new skills and build a lifelong love of the game.

Mavericks is brand new — but our coaches aren't. Here's what families who've trained with them have to say.
Emily immediately saw Sophie's potential — arranging specialist shooting sessions and pushing her against stronger players. Her belief gave Sophie the confidence to trial for the UAE U17 team well below age, setting her on a pathway we never thought possible.
Training with Coach Quinn has been a game-changer for my daughter — her shooting, confidence and resilience have all soared. The girls absolutely adore her.
My seven-year-old has trained with Layla for a year and her confidence and love of netball have grown so much. Layla genuinely cares about every girl — they always leave with a huge smile.
Coach Quinn has given Fifi so much confidence, on and off the court, and a real competitive edge. She's made wonderful friendships and looks forward to every single session.
Emily coached me from a young age and always encouraged me to be the best version of myself, on and off the court. Anyone who gets to be coached by Em is incredibly lucky — an exceptional coach and an amazing person.
Emily coached my daughter at club level and through 1:1 sessions — both really brought out the best in her ability and confidence. Her passion for netball clearly shines through in everything she does. She is highly knowledgeable, supportive, and consistently prioritises the development and wellbeing of the girls and the club.
Layla is a fantastic role model for the Under 7s — her patience, enthusiasm and kindness make every session fun and nurturing. The girls absolutely adore her.
Katie coached my daughter for three years and she loved every moment. The belief she instilled and her encouragement from the sidelines showed in every game — she brought the girls together, built real resilience, and gave them the drive to compete against older, stronger teams.
Mavericks trains at Kings' School Al Barsha (KSAB), our home venue for the 2026/27 season. All squads train on Saturday mornings in the cooler hours, moving indoors for the summer block. League fixtures fall on different days by age group (below).

All squads train Saturday mornings at Kings' School Al Barsha (KSAB).
Most Dubai venues don't open summer bookings until the end of September. The club is chasing an indoor court now and will confirm the venue and times once bookings open.
The day follows team placement: it depends which league and division each team is placed into, so it can't be set until the squads are picked. The league only publishes fixtures a few days ahead, so the club sends each weekend's time and opponent on WhatsApp and posts it in the member app.
Not at all. Most of our players are new to netball — our youngest groups start from the very first pass, and our coaches love bringing new players on.
Girls from U5 to U17, across four training groups: Mini Mavericks (U5–U8), Developing Mavericks (U9–U10), Performance Mavericks (U11–U13) and Elite Mavericks (U14–U17) — each with its own focus and session length.
All squads train on Saturday mornings at Kings' School Al Barsha (KSAB). Start times move through the season: 07:30 until Sat 3 Oct, then 08:00 from Sat 17 Oct. Sessions run 60 min for U5–U8 and 90 min for U11–U17. Training moves indoors for the summer block. Most Dubai venues don't open summer bookings until the end of September. The club is chasing an indoor court now and will confirm the venue and times once bookings open. League netball is a separate commitment on a different day, and not at KSAB — the training & match days page has your daughter's exact times.
Yes — our Mini and Developing squads (U5–U10) play the Pro Physique Venture League on Sunday mornings at Repton School Dubai, not at Kings' School Al Barsha (KSAB), with kick-off between 8:00am and 12 noon. Our Performance and Elite squads (U11–U17) play Tuesday or Thursday, PM. The day follows team placement: it depends which league and division each team is placed into, so it can't be set until the squads are picked. We also play five tournaments across the UAE through the year — the dates for her age group are on the training & match days page.
Membership is one all-inclusive fee — AED 3,800 for U5–U8 and AED 3,995 for U9 and up — covering the full kit, weekly coaching, court hire, insurance and all league & tournament entry.
Plenty of water, suitable sports kit and supportive trainers. Jewellery (including earrings) needs to come off — tape isn't permitted — and nails kept short and smooth. Bring a netball if you have one, an ice box for drinks breaks, a cap, and a positive attitude!
We're up and running — 2026/27 is our inaugural season, so anyone joining now still comes in as a founding member and helps build something special from the very beginning.
