Welcome to Mavericks Netball Dubai — and to your daughter's new netball family.

We're the city's newest girls' netball club, for ages U5 to U17 of every ability, and 2026/27 is our founding season. That makes your family one of the first to help shape the club's culture, standards and spirit.

This pack tells you everything you need for the season ahead — your daughter's group, training, fees, kit, the parent portal and how to reach us. Anything missing? Just ask — we're always happy to help.

We give every girl high-quality coaching, real competition and a place to belong — building confidence, resilience and lifelong friendships.

Mavericks is brand new — but our coaches aren't. From the very first session your daughter is in experienced, qualified hands.

Players train in four groups by age, each with its own focus:

• Mini Mavericks — U5–U8 · 60-minute sessions · first passes, fun and fundamentals.
• Developing Mavericks — U9–U10 · 90-minute sessions · core skills, positions and game understanding.
• Performance Mavericks — U11–U13 · 90-minute sessions · tactical play and match craft.
• Elite Mavericks — U14–U17 · 90-minute sessions · high-performance training and competition.

Age groups are set as at 1 September. Not sure which group fits? We'll place your daughter when she joins.

All groups train on Saturday mornings at Kings' School Al Barsha (KSAB) netball courts.

• Sat 5 Sep → Sat 3 Oct — sessions start at 7:30am.
• From Sat 17 Oct — sessions start at 8:00am. The May half-term the club's rule refers to isn't in the season calendar yet, so we can't say which Saturday is the last 08:00 one.

We don't train on these dates:

• 10 – 16 Oct — October half-term break
• 2 – 3 Dec — UAE National Day weekend
• 11 Dec 2026 – 3 Jan 2027 — Winter Break
• 8 – 14 Feb — February half-term break
• 2 – 9 Apr — Spring Break
• Mini Mavericks train for 60 minutes; all other groups for 90 minutes.

What to bring:

• Lots of water
• An ice box with a cool towel & ice
• A netball, if you have one
• Training kit — shorts / leggings / t-shirt
• Supportive trainers
• Sunscreen & a hat

Please set your daughter's training attendance in the parent portal so we know who to expect each Saturday.

Membership is one simple, all-inclusive fee for the season:

• Mini Mavericks (U5–U8): AED 3,800
• Developing, Performance & Elite (U9+): AED 3,995

Your fee covers everything:

• Full Mavericks kit + a netball
• Weekly coaching sessions
• Court hire & insurance
• League & tournament entry fees
• End-of-season awards

Nothing extra to buy — and you can pay or settle fees easily through the parent portal.

Every player gets a full Mavericks kit as part of membership — so she'll look and feel part of the team from day one.

Mavericks compete across the UAE through the year:

• Mini & Developing (U5–U10): league matches on Sunday mornings.
• Performance & Elite (U11–U17): league fixtures on a Tuesday or Thursday — the day follows team placement: it depends which league and division each team is placed into, so it can't be set until the squads are picked.
• Plus five tournaments across the UAE through the season.

Your full fixture list and training calendar live in the parent portal — and you can subscribe to it so it syncs straight into your own phone calendar.

Everything for the season runs through your parent portal — setting match availability, seeing if your daughter's been selected, messaging coaches, paying fees, reading reports and keeping up with club news.

Your daughter's safety and wellbeing come first. By joining, families agree to our codes of conduct (for parents, players, coaches and team managers) — you'll find these in the documents area of the parent portal.

Photo consent: we love celebrating our players and sharing club moments. When you register, you'll choose whether your daughter can appear in photos or videos used on our social media, website and promotional materials — and you can change your mind any time.
